How to Prepare Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte

Matcha Green Tea is a natural tea from japan green tea leaves which is dried through a special procedure and then finely grounded to make a powder. It contains tons of powerful antioxidants, amino acids and other essential nutrients. Apart from drinking, as a tea, it is widely used as a flavoring agent in making cakes, cookies, noodles, ice-creams and lattes. Matcha Green Tea is prepared from Tencha leaf. Bushes of tea covered with mats to protect them from sunlight. Tea bushes gradually grow at a slower pace. At the last Tencha leaf produced and then grounded into a fine powder. Here is the recipe of making Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte by Craig Hochstadt who love making Matcha Green tea lattes.

Ingredients:

·         1 glass of milk
·         Some ice cubes
·         Some hot water

A little sweetener

Method:
·         Add the one teaspoon of the Matcha green tea powder and the sugar into your favorite cup.
·         Add the warm water and mix with a spoon or with a whisk until it is a smooth dark green paste. This is to prevent lumps.
·         Take cold milk and pour into the glass until nearly full.
·         Mix the paste and milk together until smooth and light green in color with the help of a whisker.
·         Fill your glass with ice cubes
·         For the decoration, you can add a few sprinkles of Matcha green tea powder on the top for decoration. Or add ice for an extra cold iced latte.
